THE STORY BEHIND NORMAN PAINTBALL
One Christmas morning the Norman boys awoke to find Christmas presents under the tree. This Christmas would be one of the best, as it was the Christmas that the Norman family got their first paintball markers. That same day in the cold and snow, the Normans tried out their new markers (brass eagle talons). It was love at first try. They would continue to play and invite more and more of their friends to join in and this was tradition all the way up to the time Josh left for the U.S. AIr Force.
After managing a field for 3 years while in the military, Josh Norman returned home with dreams of opening his own field. These dreams were shared with both Craig Norman (Josh's father) and Matt Howie (Josh's best fiend). They both thought it was a great idea as well. Matt and Josh had grown up playing paintball in the very same woods that Norman Paintball is now located in.
In the beggining things were extremely slow, but giving up was not an option, the owners were just happy to have a few players to play with on the weekends. As time passed the word spread and soon the field would develop into the wonder that is now.
